The Victorian used stars and moons to be the subject of many objet d'art from jewellery to glass wear. Stars symbolised "spirit, guidance and direction" for its wearer.
This beautiful 18ct yellow gold ornate ring features two bright blue Ceylon sapphires alongside a central diamond. The gemstones are star set, a wonderful traditional design from this era.
