This charming Chinese export ring is from the 1940s. The style was quite popular then. The ring is made of gold-gilt silver with an oval cabochon of faceted glass set in a delicate wire bezel. The sides are decorated with a floral motif, and the adjustable band tapers at each end.  The ring is stamped at the back, but the words are not clear, with the exception of "China."

It has Art Deco charm and looks lovely.
